Job Posting Guidelines

Effective Date: 22nd September 2025 


WildHire is a dedicated recruitment platform for the safari, hospitality, and lodge industry. To protect the integrity of our community, all job postings must follow these guidelines.



1. Scope of Roles

  • Only hospitality, safari, tourism, and lodge-related positions may be posted.

  • Posts outside these categories will be rejected.

  • Job functions and titles must be selected from the categories provided on the platform



2. Basic Posting Standards

When creating a job post, you must complete all required fields:

  • Headline: Clear, role-specific (e.g. Luxury Lodge seeking Trails Guide).

  • Job Type: Freelance, Permanent, or Fixed-term contract.

  • Job Function & Title: Select from the approved list.

  • Location & Environment: Must specify work environment 

  • Start & End Date: Include if applicable.

  • Full Description: Outline responsibilities, qualifications, benefits, and application deadline.

  • Compensation: State salary, daily rate, or “market-related.”



3. Accuracy and Honesty

  • All information must be accurate, complete, and up to date.

  • Misrepresentation of pay, benefits, or working conditions is prohibited.

  • Only genuine, open vacancies may be listed.



4. Prohibited Content

Job posts will be rejected or removed if they:

  • Are outside the hospitality/safari/lodge industry.

  • Require upfront payments or fees from candidates.

  • Contain vague or incomplete details.

  • Use offensive or discriminatory language.

  • Are duplicate or spam postings.



5. Discrimination and Fairness

  • Job ads must comply with South African labour laws and employment equity standards.

  • Posts cannot exclude candidates based on race, gender, religion, disability, or other protected categories.



6. Candidate Safety and Privacy

  • Employers must only use candidate information for recruitment purposes.

  • All communication should remain professional and role-related.



7. WildHire’s Rights

  • All postings are subject to approval by WildHire.

  • Payment is only taken after a job is approved.

  • WildHire may edit, reject, or remove posts that do not meet these guidelines.

  • Repeat offenders risk account suspension or termination.
